About Sara
My Story
Tucson-based author Sara LaFontain is also an Author Accelerator certified book coach, who helps others follow their writing dreams. She spends most of her time at her computer, in a bright yellow room, with constant interruptions from her loving children and spouse. Her latest series, The Corbitt Calamities, features bombs, boybands, and unbreakable sibling bonds. Her writing is mostly fueled by dark chocolate.
Prior to becoming an author, Sara held a variety of jobs ranging from the unusual (wildlife tour guide in the Brazilian Pantanal) to the emotional (Case Advocate in a domestic violence shelter) to the respectable (family law attorney). She holds a BA in International Studies and Spanish from Bowling Green State University, and both an MA in Latin American Studies and a JD from the University of Arizona. She has held various certifications throughout the years, including Mediation, Wilderness First Responder, and now Fiction Coach.
As an Author Accelerator certified book coach, I am qualified to coach writers using Author Accelerator’s strategy, methods, and materials, but I operate independently of Author Accelerator and am not affiliated with them.
